RKS Tool & Die was
founded in 1971 and opened it's doors in a small 900 SQ. FT.
building in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio by
David
Strecker, Sr. sole
proprietor and operator.
David Strecker, Sr.
named the business after his daughter, Rita, and wife,
Katharina, thus becoming RKS.

In the late 70's and early
80's his sons came to work for him as the company gradually
grew. In 1991 the company Incorporated and two years later
relocated to a modest 2500 SQ. FT. Building as business
steadily increased. In September of 1995, Richard and David
Strecker purchased the company from their father as he
stayed on as CEO.

In February of 1996, RKS
purchased it's first CNC Vertical machining center. In
October of 1997 with business increasing and in need of more
space RKS purchased a 7000 SQ. FT. facility at 200 Security
Drive, Fairfield, Ohio. In January of 1999, RKS purchased a
second larger CNC machining center to accommodate business
growth.

In November of 1999,
RKS introduced it's WEB SITE to the Internet.
