  • RKS Tool & Die was founded in 1971 and opened it's doors in a small 900 SQ. FT. building in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio by David Strecker, Sr. sole proprietor and operator.  David Strecker, Sr. named the business after his daughter, Rita, and wife, Katharina, thus becoming RKS.

  • In the late 70's and early 80's his sons came to work for him as the company gradually grew.  In 1991 the company Incorporated and two years later relocated to a modest 2500 SQ. FT. Building as business steadily increased.  In September of 1995, Richard and David Strecker purchased the company from their father as he stayed on as CEO.

  • In February of 1996, RKS purchased it's first CNC Vertical machining center.  In October of 1997 with business increasing and in need of more space RKS purchased a 7000 SQ. FT. facility at 200 Security Drive, Fairfield, Ohio.  In January of 1999, RKS purchased a second larger CNC machining center to accommodate business growth.
